Anacapa Sciences Inc specializes in human factors, human engineering, ergonomics, cognitive science, information systems and behavioral research for the development of innovative training and technology design, specifically the enhancement of human performance and safety in complex systems and organizations. The firm has developed strategies and techniques for intelligence analysis and has conducted training on them worldwide since 1971. Analysts from thousands of law-enforcement, intelligence, financial, retail, insurance, and military organizations have completed this training. The training continues to be offered worldwide through licenses issued and trainers trained by Anacapa. Since its formation in 1969, the company has completed more than 800 research and development projects for over 200 different government agencies, academic institutions, and industrial organizations. Completed Projects include research on human behavior and performance in systems and organizations; development of training in real and virtual environments; human-centered design and testing of systems, equipment, and procedures; and Analytical techniques for the investigation of complex criminal activities.
