Public Profile
Scientific Solutions Inc provides theoretical design, mechanical design, and prototypes utilizing particle accelerator technologies in order to promote the application of particle accelerator technologies within the accelerator community and other disciplines. Particle accelerator technology is a factor in the development of almost every field of science and technology from biology, medicine and metallurgy to elementary particles, radioisotopes and new sources of energy. An obvious application of accelerator technology is for the purpose of national security. By using accelerator technology, devices that use neutrons and gamma rays for radiography and the detection of special nuclear materials and explosives can be created. A more subtle application, involving the development of an intrusion detector based on RF techniques, is also under consideration. NMR and/or MRI techniques can also be employed for the detection of explosives and land mines.
