Silverdale, WA - September 17, 2013 -- Applied Technical Systems, Inc. (ATS), a provider of Data-to-Decision applications, today announced that they have opened a new office in Alexandria, VA and moved into new and expanded facilities in Suffolk, VA, in an effort to accommodate its rapidly expanding operations.
To better support its customers in Alexandria, ATS opened an office at 2051 Jamieson Ave in Alexandria on the grounds of the US Patent & Trademark Office main campus.
Its new, expanded facility located at 7025 Harbour View Blvd nearly doubles its footprint in Suffolk to accommodate its projected employee base growth over the next 24 -- 36 months.
"Our expansion better positions us to serve our customers' demand for our expertise in data analysis and software development while allowing us to explore new business opportunities," states Doug West, Vice President of ATS' Maintenance Support Group.
"We continue to focus our momentum on sustainable, strategic growth," said Rick Leenstra, Sr., Chairman and CEO of ATS. "Data is being created at break-neck speeds and businesses need ATS to help them make sense of that data if they are going to remain competitive and innovative."
While ATS is primarily in the federal and defense markets, it has also seen a rise in demand for its services in the commercial market where big data, building user-centered applications that streamline workflow, and providing effective decision making tools are all on the rise. With its three data analytical patents and 33 years of proven past performance, ATS is well positioned to capture its share in this growing market.
Since 1980, ATS has been driving operational excellence through data to decision applications for defense, commerce, utility and intelligence communities. ATS is a performance driven team focused on providing customers with measurable results. Learn more about ATS at www.atsid.com.
