Tricorder Array Technologies LLC. is organized around developing a device -- designated SIDECARe(TM) - Sensing and Integrating Data for Environmental Conditions in Animal Research. - that is targeted for use by research facilities personel and is designed to assist with care of the animals. The device can - for example - continuously detect (24/7/365) mouse pups, monitor light-temperature-humidity at the cage level, and collect census among many other things .. all at an affordbale cost. In fulfilling the goal of the best way to monitor and care for animals in research, it became obvious that the device met the definition of a Tricorder (To sense our animal, compute and record that data for further analysis). With our research and technology goals in hand, Array indicates the need for many devices to cover the large number of observations.
