A posting on the firm's website indicates that operations have been suspended. Early involved in SBIR, Technology Systems Inc (TSI) had been developing integrated software and systems to include creation of one of the earliest PC based simulations used by the military, implementation of early global Voice over IP (VoIP) capabilities, and the development of mixed reality capabilities. The firm went on to work on projects involving environmental emergency response and Unmanned Aerial Vehicle tracking and observation. The firm also focused efforts on Maritime technology applications, including the identification and development of technologies for shipbuilding that exploit emerging capabilities in laser welding. That effort was spun off into a separate company, Precision Light Systems, which was eventually fully acquired by Applied Thermal Sciences. The capabilities developed for blending live and virtual worlds took on new dimensions with the creation of Augmented Reality Navigation systems for Navy ships and small craft, with installations on a broad range of craft ranging from high seas vessels, to LCAC hovercraft, to small high speed Riverine and SpecWar craft. The work was also being transitioned to the USMC Amphibious Assault Vehicle program
