Optical Sciences Corporation (OSC) is organized around manufacture of custom infrared test equipment and the provision of high quality technical and engineering support services to the various parts of the US Department of Defense, NASA, and private aerospace/defense corporations. Prior to the formation of Optical Sciences Corporation (OSC), various of the firm's personnel had been active members in the development and operation of the Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) facilities within the Aviation and Missile Research, Development and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) of the Research Development and Engineering Command (RDECOM) at Redstone Arsenal. Central to this effort has been the development, characterization, operation, and maintenance of state-of-the-art dynamic infrared scene projection technologies. Optical Sciences Corporation leveraged this experience into development of several commercially available infrared scene projector and test set systems.
