Public Profile

Originally doing business as Neuroenabling Technologies Inc - renamed Neuro-Recovery Technologies - the multi-disciplinary team assembled by NeuroenablingTechnologies, has developed the method and technology that will enable restoration of functions due to spinal cord injury. More than one million people in the United States cannot walk, and hundreds of thousands have lost control of body temperature, bladder, bowel, and sexual function due to spinal cord injury. Neuro-Recovery Technologies is focused to improving the quality of life, lessening the effects of co-morbidities, and indirectly lowering healthcare costs of those individuals who suffer from injury or illness that affect the complex neural circuits traveling within the brain and spinal cord through the use of next generation medical devices. The focus of the firm is to developing disease and injury specific devices to help restore optimal physiological function to damaged neural circuits and their target end points. The firm's current technology evolved from collaborative research between University of California Los Angeles, University of Louisville, and California Institute of Technology
