LT Industries is in the development of Near Infrared (NIR) analyzers -- in-line process and at-line (or stand-alone) analyzers. Custom built systems are in place in several major corporations. NIR spectroscopy is a computer-intensive technique: computers drive the instruments, control the sampling and most especially calculate the statistical values which make the technique work. The company has consistently developed application-related user interfaces for software which "tailor" the program to the specific operating and reporting needs of the end user.
