Golden Recursion management describe the firm as using sophisticated natural language processing techniques to extract canonical information on topics and entities from a wide range of public and private sources. Funded by AF (AFWERX) doe some $2m of SBIR support and having raised $19.5M (as of 02/22) in VC (to include some well-known names - owners describe themselves as ingesting data from numerous sources and then mining the firm's own knowledge graph to provide useful insights - employing what they have as a self-constructing knowledge database used to accelerate discovery and education. The approach is to combine artificial intelligence, machine learning and human effort to make the process of gathering and communicating knowledge simpler: attempting to build an extensive database and graph of knowledge for humanity.
