The objective of this program is to deliver the US Air Force knowledge and tools to make airmen safer and respond more quickly to the COVID-19 pandemic. Golden will enable users to quickly research key COVID-19 entities such as diagnostics, vaccines, personal protective equipment, medical devices such as ventilators, and the companies involved in manufacturing these products. More importantly, Golden gives US Air Force users the ability to do on-demand research to solve COVID-19 related emergent needs - enabling rapid sourcing of US industrial capacity and international technology capabilities. We have worked with AFSOC to define a need for a dashboard to visualize COVID-19 data, such as infections, deaths, and other novel signals indicating COVID-19 activity. This dashboard will enable AFSOC and any other US Air Force user to have knowledge on potential COVID-19 risk when planning personnel and unit movement and deployments.
