In December of 2005, Environmental Elements Corporation was acquired by Clyde Bergemann Power Group. Environmental Elements Corporation designs air pollution control and analysis equipment including precipitators, fabric filters, scrubbers and gas conditioners. These products are used to remove harmful particulates and gases from power boiler and industrial gas streams. Environmental Elements designs and supplies proprietary, custom-engineered air-pollution control systems for utilities, paper companies, solid-waste facilities, and other industrial customers. The systems scrub out dust and acid gases from plant emissions to meet strict regulations. Environmental Elements' products include electrostatic precipitators, fabric filtration systems, and dry and semi-dry scrubbers. Third-party manufacturers make the company's products; Environmental Elements is a joint owner of a factory in China where some of its products are made. The company markets to customers in Asia, Europe, North America, and the Pacific Rim.
