Amherst Systems Inc was acquired by Comptek Research in 1999. Subsequently when Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) acquired Comptek Research in Summer 2000, Amherst became part of Northup Grumman. Amherst Systems manufactures simulation and measurement products for use in testing/evaluating electronic warfare (EW) systems and training system operators. All products can be configured for operation in laboratories, chambers, and ranges. Amherst Systems also offers systems engineering services to integrate its own products with those of other suppliers, providing complete turnkey solutions to customers' test and training needs
