Subsequently when Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) acquired Comptek Research in Summer 2000, Amherst became part of Northup Grumman. Amherst Systems manufactures simulation and measurement products for use in testing/evaluating electronic warfare (EW) systems and training system operators.
