Previously known as Imaging Sciences Technologies Inc, Empirical Technologies Corporation (ETC) develops sensor technologies for physiological monitoring applications in humans and animals. One of the firm's product - Caretaker - CareTaker, is a non-invasive beat-by-beat blood pressure device useful for personal sleep apnea for apnea, automatic early warning of nocturnal hypoglycemia, asthma severity measurement via pulsus paradoxus, hemorrhage monitor, and other uses.
