Headquartered in Durham, NC, with facailites in Radford VA and Woburn, MA, Nuvotronics, LLC designs, develops, and fabricates custom networks of circuits and passive components for complex microwave systems. The company also creates design rules for microwave system engineers to aid in the design process. In addition, Nuvotronics builds a library of components, including filters, transmission-line and cavity resonators, and diplexers; hybrid and directional couplers; power dividers/combiners; patch-style antennas; and jumpers, connectors, and transitions. In March 2014 it was announced that Nuvotronics had been acquired by Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) an international provider of systems and solutions for mass transit and global defense markets.
