The current AdHoc emergency notification system for the United States Air Force is a broken and antiquated process that does not fit the needs of todays modern war fighter. At a majority of Air Force Bases the squadron members still hand carry a piece of paper on them at all times called a recall roster, which includes all of the names and information of each squadron member, in order to successfully administer a recall when needed. BaseConnect, a software as a service (SAAS) platform already has hundreds of active duty, guard, reserve, military spouses and veterans using our mobile application. We have received numerous requests to build a digital recall roster solution, within the BaseConnect platform, and we see this Air Force SBIR funding as a great way to fund the development of this feature. We are calling this new feature we plan to develop, ReCaller().software development, military, social network,Facebook,Angie's List,SaaS,ReCaller,Recall Roster

BaseConnect plans to further develop ReCaller(TM) to allow for emergency management, recalling functionality and messaging in order to rapidly account and communicate with users around the world. Our objectives are to create a secure recall and messaging platform that can be used by the Department of Defense and sold to commercial and local government agencies. We also plan to develop further our local business catalog allowing for aggregating data from multiple data sources to insure users and local businesses have the most accurate data. The security of our data is paramount and we plan to follow Defense Information Systems Agency protocols for insuring full compliance or our technology. BaseConnect, a software as a service(SAAS) platform already has hundreds of active duty, guard, reserve, military spouses and veterans using our mobile application. We are currently at four military installations and plan to scale our software to every base world-wide. By connecting our troops to each other, their military installation and the local community we help solve problems for our troops and their families all the while boosting the local economy.
