A LiDAR solutions provider, Bridger Photonics specializes in absolute distance and thickness measurements. The firm’s SLM-IM Length Metrology System can achieve measurement precision and accuracy limited by the material surface roughness (typically <15 microns). Bridger’s Thickness Metrology Station™ enables optics manufacturers to quickly and easily measure lens center thickness and refractive index without contacting the clear aperture of the lens. The firm also offers products address metrology needs for the laser materials processing (SLM-IM Length Metrology System) and optics fabrication (TMS Thickness Metrology System™) industries. Also developed has been an advanced high-resolution 3D imager (HRS 3D Imager, ITAR Controlled) for security and defense markets. The firm conducts contract R&R in metrology, advanced imaging and gas sensing. In late 2018 Carl Zeiss Ventures made a Series A investment in the firm indicated as enabling Bridger to develop and commercialize a broadened set of addressable applications for its leading FMCW (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) LiDAR technology.
