With its name derived from the Greek word to recover or reclaim, Anactsisis is organized around developing, scaling, and deploying novel solvent-free separation systems for the extraction and recovery of critical materials from unconventional sources. These include such as coal combustion residuals, bauxite residues, phosphogypsum tailings, or titanium pigment acid wastes. Havingties to Carnegie Mellon, the developed system enables cost-effective management of challenging large volume industrial wastes through the recovery of high value materials using highly-selective adsorbents.
