Public Profile
M4 Sciences Corporation specializes in the design and development of new technologies and systems for ultra-precision machining. The company is commercializing a range of devices based on a newly developed technology, Modulation Assisted Machining (MAM). MAM superimposes a controlled oscillation onto the machining process to improve efficiency and process capability in precision machining processes, especially in difficult-to-machine materials that are required in high-performance ultra-precision products. The technology has applications ranging from deep hole drilling, boring and turning to cut-off and trepanning. M4 Sciences first product is TriboMAM, which is specifically designed for centerline drilling applications in compact lathe and swiss-type CNC lathes.
