Acquired by ASE Holding in January 2008, the firm had already in December 2003 voluntarily deregistred its stock and suspended its reporting obligations as a publicly traded company. The firm continues operations as an independent entity providing engine test cells and equipment for turbofan, turbojet/afterburning, turboshaft, turbopropeller, auxiliary power unit, industrial, and marine engines, as well as offerd engine test facilities, engine transportation and handling systems, engine support systems, engine thrust stands and adapters, and control and instrumentation systems. The company also provided wind tunnels, including automotive climatic wind tunnels, engine/rocket altitude test facilities, and high temperature storage heaters; wind tunnel subsystems and components, such as test sections, model support and flow conditioning systems, and process systems; and isolation gate valves, stilling chamber screens, contraction systems, high speed diffuser systems, wind tunnel controls, liquid nitrogen spray systems, and fan nacelles. In addition, it offers testing services, which include exhaust system performance, CFD code validation, exhaust plume simulation, design and fabrication, and flow visualization services; and unsteady processes, icing tests, cascade tests, and probe calibrations for aerospace vehicles and propulsion systems, as well as provides spare parts, maintenance contracts, and support and training services. The company was founded in 1967 and is headquartered in Saint Paul, Minnesota with additional offices in Brussels, Singapore, and Australia and was acquired in January of 2006.
