Originally doing business as 3C Institute for Social Development with a name change in 2013 to 3C Institute, the firm structured around evidence-based programs and web-based applications aimed at promoting health and well-being and social development. Initially founded with a focus on improving the social-emotional health of children and families based on social skills interventions in schools and clinics, 3C now develops web- and game-based interventions-- including personalized games, e-training courses, and web-based assessments-- aimed at addressing children and adolescents' behavioral and social problems, as well as various social-emotional learning products. Products include Social Skills Group Intervention (S.S.GRIN) and S.S. GRIN for High-Functioning Autism, the Zoo-U evidence-based social-emotional learning and assesment game for elementary students, and the Stories in Motion game for elementary students with high-functioning autism.
