Vortant Technologies, LLC is developing a novel line of assistive technology products for people with a variety of physical disabilities. These products allow for improved access to computers and technology. Projects that the firm is pursuing include: screen readers for people with visual disabilities, orientation and mobility technology, technologies to improve mouse pointing for people with arthritis, signal transmission technology for water quality monitoring, and wireless power and control technology for implanted medical devices.
