In May 2009, Cloud Cap Technology Inc was acquired by SBIR company Sensors Unlimited Goodrich. Cloud Cap Technology (CCT) supplies system engineering services. Founders Ross Hoag and Bill Vaglienti are experienced engineers with particular emphasis in custom development of hardware and software for embedded systems. Cloud Cap is a HUB-Zone Small Business and a Key Contributor on the TSC Team for R&D Support (Functional Area 3.1). Cloud Cap specialize in developing integrated electronic packages for unmanned vehicles. Current work is focused to an avionics package called Picolo to provide autonomous operation for small air vehicles. Cloud Cap has sold over 300 commercial versions of this integrated package. They have also developed a Meteorological Sensing Package for small UAVs. This package could be used for measurements to support shipboard propagation performance predictions.
