Trimble Navigation Ltd. said on Monday that it has agreed to acquire privately held TMW Systems Inc. from Pamlico Capital for about $335 million.Sunnyvale-based Trimble (NASDAQ:TRMB) said it expects the deal to be completed in the fourth quarter.
Beachwood, Ohio-based TMW Systems fleet management software is already integrated with Trimble's software.
"In addition to a shared market vision focused on customer value, TMW brings a history of robust double-digit growth, invention and strong financial performance," said Ron Konezny, general manager of Trimble's transportation and logistics division, in a prepared statement.
