TrellisWare Technologies Inc. of Rancho Bernardo recently received a U.S. Navy contract that could be worth up to $11.7 million over five years.
TrellisWare will support the Navy in developing mobile ad-hoc networking solutions, using the company's family of radio systems and accessories.
The contract is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity deal. Work will be done in San Diego.
According to the Pentagon, there was no competition for the contract because no other supplier could satisfy the Navy's requirements. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Virginia awarded the contract.
