Space Micro today announced the expansion of their manufacturing facility in San Diego, CA to meet increased demand for it's high performance space products. The clean room and environmental qualification testing floor space has increased by over 200% and includes upgrades to our receiving/inspection areas for PIND and XRF capabilities."
Space Micro's CEO David J. Strobel, reflecting on the expansion, commented "This expansion is driven by our record backlog of space product orders. Our environmental qualification facility now includes shock, vibration, and thermal vacuum on-site." COO David R. Czajkowski added, " This expansion enables Space Micro to process many simultaneous production contracts in our three contiguous production clean rooms".
