SimWerx recently provided advanced emergency medicine training at an event called "Mountain Medic" on Fort Carson for 200 army reservists on August 25th, 2022. This training exercise allowed reservists to participate in real-world scenarios to increase their performance and team readiness for high-stress, high-stakes emergencies. Our experienced instructors used enhanced cadavers and 60 military role-players during the training to simulate a mass casualty event called a MASCAL. In this simulation, medics were required to assess, triage, and transport "patients" to various forward surgical teams throughout Operation Area for different echelons of care. We are proud to have had the opportunity to offer this valuable training to the army reservists at Fort Carson. It enhanced their skills and knowledge and helped better prepare them for the challenges they may face in the field. We want to thank all of the participants who joined us at Mountain Medic and hope to see you at future events.
