The Swiss Metrohm AG is pleased to announce the acquisition of the majority of Snowy Range Instruments (SnRI). The acquisition comes after a longer period of successful cooperation between the two companies in the development of handheld devices for Raman spectroscopy.
With the acquisition of Snowy Range Instruments (SnRI), Metrohm benefits from the know-how and resources of a technology leader in applied Raman spectroscopy consolidating the company's strategic move to extend the Metrohm solution portfolio to next-generation handheld Raman spectrometers.
While the company name "Snowy Range Instruments" will change with the acquisition of Snowy Range Instruments (SnRI) to "Metrohm Raman", the US company will continue to develop and produce the Metrohm Raman spectrometers in Laramie, Wyoming.
