Innovative Wireless Technologies, Inc. (IWT) announced today that IWT has acquired L-3 National Security Solutions, Inc.'s (L-3 NSS) wireless mesh mining communications business, effective immediately. As part of the agreement IWT acquired the primary assets of L-3 NSS's mining business: the Accolade Wireless Mesh Communications System and all its current and in-development products. IWT will provide operational support for all mines where the ACCOLADE system is deployed.
