Austin, TX March 10, 2014: CoreMedica Laboratories and Spot On Sciences, Inc. today announced their collaboration in launching the Elevate My Health site (www.ElevateMyHealth.com ) that allows home-based blood testing to be ordered online. This offering incorporates the novel HemaSpot blood collection kit, which provides a user-friendly system of a finger stick blood sample to be taken without having to make a separate trip to a laboratory.
CoreMedica Laboratories, a nationally CAP-accredited laboratory which specializes in the use of dried blood spot technology for clinical laboratory testing, provides tests through ElevateMyHealth.com that include Hemoglobin A1c to measure blood sugar, Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) Screen for the early detection of prostate cancer or other prostate conditions and Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) to screen for thyroid disorders.
