NORTHBOROUGH, Mass., June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Aspen Aerogels, Inc. ("Aspen Aerogels") today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 7,500,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $11.00 per share for total gross proceeds of $82,500,000. The shares began trading on the New York Stock Exchange on June 13, 2014 under the symbol "ASPN."
Barclays, J.P. Morgan, and Citigroup acted as joint book-running managers for the offering. Baird and Canaccord Genuity acted as co-managers.
