Having received its SBIR awards under the name 3DVis Technologies, the company developed prototype networking software for accelerating the widely used TCP data communication protocol. This software provides a 3 to 7-fold improvement in the data communication speed between servers, within corporate intranets and ISP support facilities (web servers, web caches). The firm's technology grew out of research conducted by company principals. A patent application on a key part of the firm's technology is US pending; with the firm having exclusive rights to the invention. Other key patents owned by the CTO are being submitted.
