Windcall Manufacturing has designed and patented the GrainGoat, a rechargeable, hand-held, grain combine offering a farmer or harvester unprecedented portability. With the process taking a sample for testing in less than two minutes, this represents an important improved efficiency re. making decision when to harvest. Prior to the invention of the GrainGoat, a full-sized combine was effectively the only means available to sample grain. With currently some 500,000 small grain growers in the US, this represents an important and large market ofr this device. Other markets are the custom harvesters. harvesting over 50% of the grain grown in the US and seed breeders and university extension & research offices. Three milliion foreign small grain growers would also benefit by using the GrainGoat.
