Describing what the firm is about as supercharging weather models with a unique proprietary data source, Windborne Systems is structured around development of constellations of next-generation smart weather balloons targeting the most critical atmospheric data. Management's long-term vision - an assembled team of young Stanford Enegineers - is to eliminate weather uncertainty and, in the process, enabling humanity to adapt to climate change, be that predicting hurricanes or speeding the adoption of renewables.
