Described as a solution for regional air mobility, WhisperAero is developing a novel electric propulsor technology - an all-electric, battery-electric version of a general aviation aircraft similar to a Cirrus SR22, except better - able to fly at 300 mph (versus 200) and having half the operating costs. With the firm headed up by longtime experienced former NASA personnel, thanks to its unique propulsors, Whisper Jet should be able to reach speeds of 300 mph (480 km/h) at unpressurized cruising altitudes below 14,000 feet, with a much better ride quality than conventional aircraft.
