Western Research Company, Inc. is focused to innovative means of early detection and diagnosis of disease through aggressive synthesis of technological developments in a variety of disciplines. Primary areas of research for the firm include early detection and monitoring of cancer, especially skin and cervical cancer. The firm has a newly patented technique for precise monitoring of cervical cancer lesions primarily due to human papilloma virus (HPV). Other areas of research include a new system for diagnosis of irritable bowel syndrome, as well as a microcomputer based system for nonsurgical, optical biopsy of precancerous and cancerous lesion of the skin.
