Welch Engineering Ltd provides satellite guidance, navigation and control systems to government agencies and the commercial marketplace. In 1998, the firm was acquired by Swales Aerospave Inc. of Beltsville MD. Welch Engineering strengthened Swales position in the marketplace, bringing expertise to the firm's small satellite and engineering service business areas. The Pasadena, CA operation will retain its name and operate as the Welch Engineering Division. The Rockville, MD based employees relocated to Swales headquarter facilities in Beltsville, MD.
