Waviks is structured around development and production of innovative accessories for the SEM, FIB, HIM, and TEM to facilitate nanoanalysis and nanofabrication. The firm's core team brings to the table many decades of experience designing and producing nanomanipulation and nanofabrication accessories for Omniprobe, Inc., now an Oxford Instruments company. Offering control and functionality at the nanoscale, Waviks is organized around continuing the tradition of producing high value accessories with a focus on customer satisfaction that can best be provided by a small and agile corporation. The firm's nanomanipulators are exceptionally stable and linear, precise to less than +/- 100 nm in each axis (standard), with +/- 1 nm available. The nanomanipulators come in levels of systems from low cost entry level manipulators for detector positioning to fully automated and programmable 4-axis (X, Y, Z, Rotation) systems for applications and customers with more demanding needs. Waviks also designs and manufactures custom motion controllers, each with an embedded Windows 10 PC and built in communications with microscope PC via Ethernet. The firm's controllers can also be accessed remotely using the IP address and come standard with a complete library of automation commands for control by the microscope computer.
