Wavefront Commercial Services offers design, fabrication and characterization of opto-electronic devices and systems with high performance and/or operating at extreme conditions and wavefront precision scientific instrumentation and measurements solutions. These feature Low-noise amplifiers, Cryogenic instruments, Tera-Hertz wave generation and detection system, and Precision laser homodyne and heterodyne systems. The firm's intent is to develop a Photon-Counting Integrated Circuit (PCIC) mega-pixel focal plane array (FPA) imager with highest sensitivity, lowest noise and hence highest signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) among all imagers covering the shortwave infrared band. This will be used on rovers, improving science return from instruments used to study the elemental, chemical, and mineralogical composition of planetary materials.
