Public Profile

VivaQuant provides products, services, and technology that yield more accurate and useful information from ECG and other vital signs to improve the productivity of clinicians and researchers and the lives of patients VivaQuant's MultiDomain Signal ProcessingTM (MDSP) technology is a novel patent-pending approach for providing highly accurate and computationally-efficient extraction of information from ECGs and other physiological signals. A unique feature of the technology is that it reduces in-band noise (e.g. noise that is within the same frequency range as ECG, such as EMG, baseline wander, movement artifact, etc.) in ECGs by up to 26 dB without distorting the ECG signal. This is equivalent to a 95% reduction in noise amplitude while preserving ECG quality. MDSP technology facilitates extraction of more accurate information regarding arrhythmias and intervals, especially from noisy ambulatory recordings. Hence, using MDSP to extract information from ECGs recorded with ambulatory devices can result in higher sensitivity and PPV when assessing arrhythmias and lower variability when monitoring intervals such as QT, resulting in better diagnostic information
