Viresco Energy is in the technology, production and marketing of clean hydrocarbon fuels and chemicals derived from carbonaceous feedstocks such as coal, biomass (including green and woody waste), municipal and industrial solid wastes and others. Viresco Energy is commercializing a gasification technology, called the Viresco Process, which can convert carbonaceous feedstocks into high calorie product gas in an efficient and environmentally friendly manner. Viresco aims to accomplish its goals by means of technology development using key partnerships with entities in the private and academic sectors and by leveraging government funding for such initiatives and an aggressive implementation program with commercial partners. Viresco Energy owns the exclusive licensing options for the Viresco Process, originally developed by the College of Engineering â Center for Environmental Research and Technology (CE-CERT) at the University of California, Riverside (UCR).
