Veris Technologies Inc, a sister company of Geoprobe Systems, is responsible for the design, building, and marketing of sensors and controls for precision agriculture. The firm sells its soil mapping equipment to crop and precision consultants, agri-chem suppliers, large growers, and research institutions. The Veris system is designed expressly for continuously-sensed field mapping; doing so by generating the electrical signal, measuring voltage of that signal as it moves through the soil, converting the analog response to digital, and logging the geo-referenced results.
