Nanocorp, Inc (USN). developed nanomaterials used in energy storage products and energy conversion devices, such as fuel cells, batteries, electrochemical supercapacitors, and thermoelectrics. Involving the same senior management, in February 2004, The Nano Group, Inc ("NGI") acquired, in a share exchange, the stock of US Nanocorp Inc and its sister company Inframat. Both entities subsequently ceased operations at that time. USN was also developing industrial thermal spray methods for thin-film batteries and techniques for fuzzy logic-based battery and fuel cell management. USN has also formed a joint venture with Bipolar Technologies Corp. (Provo, UT), US Microbattery, to commercialize micro power supplies comprised of wafer-fab type microbatteries (0.5 cm x 0.5 cm) under fuzzy logic-based battery management. USN has formed a spin-off entity to commercialize the fuzzy logic battery and fuel cell management, Battery Intelligence Incorporated ("BII").
