Tutor Technologies is working on an intelligent tutoring system for Computational Thinking allowing students to learn computer science concepts needed to address the modern standards for the 21st century student. Students need a new set of skills that were both unavailable and unimaginable to previous generations, and the ability to reason with computational devices is an important part of that skill set. Computational thinking and computer science can help provide students the tools they need to extract information from data, simulate or model situations to make informed predications or decisions, and streamline their work process to be competitive. For all of these reasons, Tutor Technologies believe that computational thinking and computer science is an important tool for every childs toolbox. Tutor Technologies is working to provide a pedagogical tool that will help both teachers and students achieve competency in computer science and computational thinking using proven and newly discovered cognitive principles in their tutor design.
