With what is described as a quite distinctly different relationship to the SBIR program than almost any other firm we have recorded over these many decades, Treble One describe their program involvement as "Mission: Improving USAF Capability through Rapid Innovation". Treble One management in fact describe themselves as - for over 20 years - as having "helped industry develop, demonstrate and deliver innovative capability to the USAF Warfighter". as their role being one of having connected innovative companies with USAF Customers to broker solutions, create partnerships, and lead the process of technology transition. With Treble One n business only since 2000, the full scale operation of the Air Force SBIR effort from the early days of the program (c.1980) seems not to have registered with current management.
