Previously known as Toomay Mathis & Associates, Inc. until 1989, principals of the firm appear to have moved on to other firms in other states but clearly had important capabiities inthe arena of space-based, airborne and ground-based optical applications. Those requiring access to optical scatter data and other properties for black, white, reflective and transmissive surfaces and materials for stray light control, thermal control calibration and visual target cues for space and ground based systems. When there was an effort in 1970's to create a database of scatter data to aid in the design and analysis of optical systems, in the company of players donating relevant data ti include Oak Ridge National Labs, NASA, Schmitt measurement systems Inc. the Optical ScienceCenter of the University of Arizona and the Jet Propulsion Lab was Toomey Mathis & Associates.
