ThermoSolv LLC applies synthesis knowledge to convert solid carbonaceous materials into high-value liquid fuels. The mission of Thermosolvs R&D programs is to develop and commercialize direct thermosolvolytic liquefaction and co-liquefaction of low-rank coals and lignin to produce high-value hydrocarbon products, such as an aromatic bio-jet fuel component (JP-8), a naphthenic jet/rocket fuel (RP-900), and a high-octane aromatic gasoline additive.
