Tele-SyS' Access America program offers discount long-distance telephone service to businesses and residents of selected cities in Tennessee and Virginia. Features include call accounting codes for allocating costs to specific projects or accounts; speed numbers to simplify dialing procedures in areas without equal access; and travel access, which allows subscribers to place long-distance calls into the local service area or to any other long-distance telephone number while traveling out of the local service area. Additionally, the network can be used for data transmission. Calls are charged to the nearest tenth of a minute and are billed automatically according to directions provided by the subscriber when the account is opened.
