TechDrive, Inc. utilizes strong capabilities and experience in electrolytes and electrolyte additives for use in lithium rechargeable batteries. Areas of activity includes nonflammable electrolytes, high conducting solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs), low lattice energy lithium salts and high permittivity plasticizers. The company also conducts a variety of screening tests on these materials, often in conjunction with subcontractors. These tests include cyclic voltammetry (CV) for electrochemical stability, AC impedance for conductivity, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), accelerating rate calorimetry (ARC), and charge-discharge behavior and capacities (cell cycling).
