Public Profile

Tangible Haptics LLC, formally known as Kinea Touch, has developed technology that allows you to feel what you see on a touchscreen, whether it is the edges of keys; the snap of a toggle switch; the swipe of a turned page; or the direction and magnitude of impacts in a game. Although touch screens bring versatility to device interfaces, the user is left to interact with a cold, lifeless piece of glass. Current haptic technologies provide vibrations or clicks, but to truly engage with a user the effect must feel dynamic applications like bouncy balls and stretchy strings. Tangible Haptics LLC plans to deliver these meaningful types of effects to OEMs through display integrators who supply display modules to a variety of industries.
